During the sale, all retail items (excluding MGI electric buggies) will be 25% off the marked price.

From the Course
Rainfall for the Week: 19.0mm, Rainfall for 2024: 1,037.5mm, Dam: 100%, Green Speed: 9.5feet
Construction work has commenced on the practice green area this week with good progress made stripping the existing material from this site and starting to shape up the clay base contours of the green and surrounding bunkers. Work has also commenced down at the 19th green with material being stripped off this site so that material from the practice site can be reused down at the 19th green site.
Green surrounds were sprayed with regulator this week to gain some control over the growth in these areas. The humidity has certainly increased growth of the kikuyu in recent weeks, so the growth regulator is a great product to use to assist with our maintenance practices.
Debris from our trees continues to be a constant issue this week, with our Eucalyptus trees shredding their bark to deal with the climatic conditions being presented. It’s a labour intensive process trying to keep playing surfaces clean of debris. Firstly, we need to blow the leaf and bark debris from fairways into rough lines before the vacuum then comes along and collects it all up. Fairways are being blown everyday and we can manage to get across all fairways, but it takes the vacuum the entire week to get across all of the course.
Our volunteers were on course Monday morning replacing one of the practice nets and cleaning all the practice bays, clearing debris from the down pipes at the front of the Clubhouse, stick picking, and divotting of fairways on Thursday morning. Thank you to all those involved this week, your assistance is always very much appreciated!
Greens will be cut on Saturday and Sunday morning.
Happy Golfing!
The Course Team.

Ladies Annual Dinner
The Oatlands Ladies held their end of year Annual Dinner on Thursday 21st November, with a small but enthusiastic group of ladies kicking up their heels to end the year, and toast the major trophy winners for 2024.
The ladies celebrated well into the night to the sounds of a 3-piece band QC-Collective who have played previously at the Club for Grooves and Greens.

Club-fitting
The simulator studios will give our PGA staff the ability to conduct comprehensive club-fitting for members and guests.
The Club currently has the latest Titleist club-fitting equipment, however Taylormade, PING and Callaway are all set to launch new model clubs in January 2025, and as such, the fitting equipment for these three manufacturers will arrive early in the new year.
For more details on club-fitting sessions, please contact the Head Professional Jeremy Ward via email golfoperations@oatlandsgolf.com.au or by phoning the Pro Shop (02) 9630 4444 ext 1.
We look forward to as many members as possible utilising this newest addition to the Club’s offering over the coming weeks, months and years.
