What an incredible week for the members and staff of Oatlands Golf Club following the successful hosting of the NSW Amateur Championship 🏆
The week saw three separate course records — including a sensational round from our very own Alicia Luo, firing a 4-under-par 66 👏 — along with outstanding performances from two very deserving champions in Lara Thomsen (The Australian) & Josh Fuller (The Vintage).
A special thank you to our co-hosts @strathfieldgolf and the Golf NSW team for their support in delivering such a successful event. We are also incredibly grateful to our members who generously gave up their course for the week and assisted with spotting, starting, caddying and spectator duties — your support was invaluable.
The feedback from both competitors and spectators has been extremely positive, and this event has further enhanced the reputation of Oatlands Golf Club as a premier championship venue.

Congratulations to Molly Perren-Leveridge (Noosa Spings GC) 👏🏌
Molly recorded the first Hole in One of this year`s NSW Amateur, acing the 137 meter Par three 13th hole at Oatlands.
Molly was unaware of her achievement until reaching the green, when she was pleasantly surprised to find her ball at the bottom of the Cup.
Well done Molly on this terrific achievement.

Last Wednesday, the course was hit by a sudden and intense storm that brought trees down across the property — none larger or more potentially dangerous than the huge gum tree between the 2nd and 17th holes.
Our staff and volunteers have done a tremendous job over the past few days clearing and mulching the debris. Today, with the help of our arborist (Bolans Tree Services) and a large crane, we were able to safely remove the last of the suspended branches.

Following on from the success of the Men’s Oatlands Cup on the weekend, the Club proudly hosted the Women’s Oatlands Cup and Anniversary Salver today, with a fantastic field of nearly fifty ladies competing. ⛳️✨
Oatlands local Linda Gyzen finished strongly to defeat Jia You on a countback with a 79 scratch, while Brenda Chalmers (Elanora) claimed the Nett with an impressive 70. Linda and Brenda are pictured following their wins. 📸👏
In the Anniversary Salver, local star Katrina Davidson had a brilliant day, scoring 42 points to take the win by two over Danielle Cordina.
